After the mess dealing with NHRMC in November, opted to go the homehealth route this time. That in itself went okay, except the first nurse that came and wanted to go over my house and dictate what daily assistance I needed. She wanted to arrange for an therapist come in and evaluate my house and what equipment etc I needed to get through the day.
I get up each day, shower and dress myself and drive myself to work. By the end of the work day I am fatigued but I still drive myself home and take care of my cats and play fetch with the neighbour's dog, get into my pj's myself etc... What was this woman on about?! Having never met me before, she was telling me what I was NOT capable of doing myself. Kent bit his tongue, but he wasn't excited about her either!!
We got my solu-medrol infusions done and as per my usual stubborn self, I did not take any time off work.
My neuro wants me to follow up with him in one month.
My two babies watching the garden grow. Haven't managed to get them to weed yet though.
