It was 18 months since my last exacerbation and November brought me another one. What made this one extra annoying is that when I had my Neurologist in Raleigh send the orders to NHRMC here in Wilmington, they refused to accept them. Never an issue in the past but they have a new policy of not accepting any orders from physicians that do not have privileges there. This meant my neuro had to then send the orders to my GP who then re-wrote them as his own and sent them to NHRMC. Because of a weekend, this made a 1 week delay on starting my solu-medrol. That taken care of, all went well.
I was up and running and ready for the Christmas season!
